Coaching Tip for the Week:
What do your goals for 2016 look like?
I have mine in front of me as I write this. They are big, BOLD, and I am guessing if you saw them you would think I was a bit nuts. Usually that’s when I know I’m onto something good. 🙂
People often ask me why I’m so passionate about Big Dreams and Bold Goals. There are many reasons; for one, I believe we are much more capable than we give ourselves credit for.
Another is the truth of the opening line. I would rather try and fail than never try at all. I can recover from failure. I have a harder time recovering from the regret of being too afraid to try, to take a healthy chance.
This week, dream big. Believe in yourself. Know that you have it within you to achieve great and beautiful goals. You don’t have to know the “how” right now (I definitely don’t with all of my Bold Goals!), but you need to believe in your ability to reach out to the right people for help, to learn as you go, to figure it out.
Don’t be afraid of big dreams. We need them in order to make the world a better place. And we need you in order to make the world a better place, too!
