Growth Beyond Bigger, Faster, More

In a world obsessed with numbers, maybe it's time to measure your success in different, more meaningful ways.

Coaching Tip:
How big is your email list? How fast do you run a mile? How much is in your bank account? How many followers do you have on Facebook?
In many ways, our society is obsessed with numbers.
But getting too wrapped up in numbers – a more surface-level measurement – can often impede with our celebration of true success. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather have one deep and meaningful conversation than ten surface ones. I’d rather have five true friends I can count on than 500 acquaintances.
Depth, meaning, engagement, commitment, energy… growth can be measured in ways other than bigger/faster/more.
Inspired Action:
Ask yourself where you’ve been focusing too much on an external numbers: Instagram followers? Pounds on the scale? People joining your program? Focus your attention this week on how you can create more meaning and depth in that area, regardless of the numbers.
Where do you experience depth? Share your thoughts here!
